For some people its difficult to separate fact from fiction. BUTFF has lots of experience with that. These days special effects can be so real they are hard to distinguish from reality.
This is something Rémy Couture experienced personally when Interpol started to suspect he committed the crimes he was depicting in his work. When they found this was not the case, rather then dropping the case the Canadian police charged him with Moral Corruption through propagation of obscene material. On 10 December 2012 he has to stand trial.
In September he will visit the BUTFF with his art, a workshop and his films.
